Job Description & Requirements

Our Banquet Chef's provide support to banquet captain in keeping timeline on track & executing final production of catered food. The duties and responsibilities of BOH staff are generally to keep food service on track based on a pre-determined catering menu. Here are some examples of the duties and responsibilities of a successful candidate:


  • Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the Event.

  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.

  • Set Up of Field Kitchen including Inventory & Equipment Checks Upon Arrival

  • Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Finish/Sauce/Plate Up Prepared Catered food per Contract Instructions.

  • Work with FOH Captain to maintain event timeline & implementation.

  • Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.

  • Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.

  • Reliable Transportation & Timeliness are requirements of this position.

  • SATURDAY AVAILABILITY IS A REQUIREMENT

  • Experience as a prep chef or in a kitchen environment a plus, but not a requirement. We will train the right candidate.
